Prefer to Explore? Although the Sunset Beach Club is self-contained from which many holiday makers may never wish to leave it’s beach, it is an added bonus to be able to visit the neighboring Turkish delights by the local dolmus and/or car hire  
Take the opportunity to enjoy the local Turkish Cultures (away from the usual tourist tracks) - you will be made more than welcome by the local people and witness friendliness and genuine interest long lost in our own
The Fethiye Sunset Beach Club lies within easy reach of many historical and tourist attractions which can be pre-booked from the popular Calis-Beach promenade or from the market and marina town of Fethiye - where east meets west and from where you can embark on daily sailing trips to the outlying 12 Islands 
The ‘dolmus’; an inexpensive mode of transport is the lifeblood of the local communities and is a ‘must experience’ for all foreign visitors. These local bus services leave from the Sunset Beach Club, pass thro Calis and converge on the town of Fethiye from whwere they regularly travel to all the immediate areas
In addition to the ‘dolmus’, normal road taxi services and water taxis are readily available - and of course there are car, scooter, quad bikes and bicycle hires if required
The various secluded beaches that abound the coastline are all within reach by dolmus, by driving, by sailing or by taking boat trip
 Beaches similar to secluded Kaputas (pictured right) is only a few kilometers from Fethiye and five kilometers from Beautiful Kalkan
The historical site of Kayakoy is only a short 30-minute driving distance from your apartment Similarly the many remnant ruins from the Ottoman, Greek and Roman eras are distributed throughout the immediate vicinity

The much photographed resort of Oludeniz (the Blue Lagoon) is within easy striking distance of your holiday home, the trout farm of Yakapark is ‘a must see’ trip, as is the renowned and much visited hidden gorge of Saklikent 
A wide variety of excursions for all the family are available and include many Lycian cities including the ruins of Pinara, Letoon and Tlos with their rock tombs, theatre and roman baths
Talking of baths, another ‘ must’ is a visit to the revitalising mud baths of Dalyan
For the sporting minded there are various water sports available, such as diving, fishing trips, horse riding and para-gliding, or enjoy a day sunbathing, water skiing or water sailing
